Scottish Sayings is a series of 31 very short animations covering the whole month of December 2016, a personal side project and my way of absorbing a small part of Scottish culture. I wanted to explore the quirky phrases and expressions that make Scottish dialect so unique, and challenge myself to create something new every single day. It was a fun exercise in keeping things simple and loose while staying consistent, and it gave me a chance to experiment with different animation styles and techniques. I worked on these in the months leading up to December, building up a collection ready to share one per day.
