Udemy is one of the world's largest online marketplaces for online education. They have over 80,000 mobile-ready video courses on every topic imaginable and over 24 million students have learned through the platform. They were looking for an animator to create a 40-second explainer-style YouTube ad with a 15-second cutdown, to help drive brand awareness and encourage action. I had to design all the assets, build character rigs and animate, all in twenty days, so yep, it was an intense one. Below are a few illustrations from the development phase.

Fast-forward a few months after the initial project was completed and I got a chance to revisit it by doing several variations for Black Friday sales and their onboarding  system. Our lead lady had dyed her hair and got just a touch curvier but was just as fun to animate.
